A mental healthcollective
Dr. Francois Williams, M.D. — Board Certified Psychiatrist
Dr. Francois Williams, M.D. is a board-certified psychiatrist and group psychotherapist with advanced training in child and adolescent psychiatry. An HBCU alumnus — Xavier University of Louisiana undergraduate, Morehouse School of Medicine M.D. — Dr. Williams completed his adult psychiatry training at Baylor College of Medicine.

I'm a board-certified psychiatrist, but I think of my work as being about people first and diagnoses second. I care about who you are, where you come from, and what brought you here now.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, grief, life transitions, identity, and relationship or family difficulties. My care blends thoughtful medication management with psychotherapy, drawing on DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and family systems work.
Not every problem needs a medication, and good care shouldn't feel like a series of refills. We decide together, at a pace that lets things actually be understood.
One-for-One Care Model
Talk Thairapy operates on a one-for-one business model. For every patient we serve, we contribute to community programs that support dignity and wellbeing for those who might not otherwise have access.
Our flagship community initiative provides free professional haircuts and hair care services for boys in Southwest Atlanta. Because looking your best and feeling confident is part of mental health.
The Barbershop as Sacred Space
Barbershops have long been places of healing in Black communities — where men and boys talk, listen, laugh, and just be. We honor that tradition.
